i don't have tugboats but i do have a couple of towboats and barges
they are the flat nose boats that push barges up the rivers
there are a couple of sites like TowBoat joes and Riverbills
if anyone wants the link i will post them

Go ahead and start a thread about your type of boats that is what this forum was set up for. You know the members here can't get enough pics no matter what kind of R/C machine it is.

My uncle an I are working on The Midwest kit Seguin. Its about 75% complete We also want to build a springer tug

R/C tugboats certainly could be an interesting addition to a R/C construction scene. Especially with a R/C tugboat maneuvering a barge with a r/c excavator for seawall construction as an example.

I haven't started using the NyLint dragline to load sand into barges yet because the water level in the canal this year is too low for navigation due to issues on the south pool.

I have a Mr Darby that has been running around for a few years.
Lot's of power to pull myself and a 250 pound skiff around.
