Good lookin' parts! I just ordered a Tormach 770 about an hour ago, I think you and your thread are partly to blame I'm looking forward to your loader build, we have a 990 at work with forks on it, its our 40ton forklift!

That's gona be cool!

Can't you clamp a giant solid block of material down on the mill and push a button and have it machine a loader while you take a nap? Didn't expect to see individual parts like those rims?

The loader build is going to be incredible, can't wait to see the progress. Back to the excavator drive motors, what voltage are you running them on?

The 933K Looks awesome, but ALL I can find it in is 1:50th scale. We run our trucks in 1:16th scale. will the 1:50 work with Tamiya trucks?

Sounds expensive. How much, & would they be interested in doing 2 of them while they're at it?

I have been told (usually by law enforcement and teachers) that I am a bad influence !!!!! the 770 spins up to 10k , that is a big benefit!! still in the learning process but machine is doing everything it should. solid right out of the crates, I did have to place a .005' shim under one corner, tramed it in with indicators then test cuts, perfect now. was perfect before but one mistyped offset put a 3/8 mill into the workpiece hard. so I checked it after that. really is a turnkey set up , keep me posted on anything you make.

12 volts , just soldered onto existing motorwires. didn't even have to mess with esc or tx settings.

jim, that block of alum price is the only thing holding me back from doing so!!!!

Part of trying to keep expense down I'm doing the floor demo and slider door along with overhead door. Had some guys call and they need the work so might be getting underway within the week.
After seeing the stuff you make in your shop, I have to ask, is that thing RC TOO?
