Default 1:6 scale 1989 Batmobile

here is a huge 1:6 scale 1989 batmobile from the movie starring micheal keaton.this is it arriving at my house ..the box is huge ,it is 47 1/2" long x27 1/2 " wide x16" tall and the batmobile takes up most of this box .the car and box weigh about 40-50 lbs.i am thinking of converting this to a r/c version.

the guns on the front fenders pop up ..no they don't shoot...too bad though...some slow r/c drivers those would take care of them...

That thing is huge, and awesome. Is it mostly diecast? Always liked this version of the Batmobile best.

After seeing yours, I had to see how much they cost. Actually it didn't shock me as much as I thought it would. I imagine shipping wasn't cheap.

Actually the shipping was not that much, there is a few storefront dealers for sideshow close to me.it was the conversion from us to can dollars that was abit.doesn't matter i am a huge batman fan and an even bigger fan of a few of the batmobiles.sometime in the spring of next year they are releasing the george barris 1966 tv batmobile in 1:6 scale and oh yea i started saving for that already...that is my all time favorite batmobile

The George Barris batmobile was always my favorite, probably because I was 13, and I was probably in the target demographic, even though I wouldn't have known what that was. I was in 7th grade, and a couple of the kids moms were cutting batman logos out of felt. Then they glued to a round piece of felt, and added a safety pin, so you could attach it to your shirt or jacket. I think they sold for 50₵. If you bought one it meant you were really cool, and expect all of the girls to swoon over you. Wrong!

Please post something about the new batmobile when it's available.

I love the working lights, but wish they would have backlit the gauges on the dash too.
