Default Pete Day cab dump truck

Just had to build one. They look soo cool, please keep in mind I am not a trucker in real life so I'm just going by what I think looks good, If I place something where it shouldn't go please just let me know and I'll do my best to fix it. Not gonna bore you with tons of pictures , we've all seen a KH kit, mine has a Wedico box and Hydraulics. Yes I know there are boxes out there that look better but I've got this thing almost a year ago. I wanted a tilting hood so lets cut the body. The bumpers front and back are aluminum to add some weight. N'uff said.

That's it for now until I figure out paint colors .

I love the tilt hood! Those wheels really look good too. That dump bed on the other hand... I'm just kidding! This truck is going to look awesome. Lots of dump trucks being built these days.

Keep the pictures coming!

Thank you!! I am going to get a set from you as soon as I free up some scratch, just like the one my buddy Wolf is getting, we took some measurements last night, Just keep them handy until I pull the trigger. I want a pup as well if you can rig that up too. Keep those boxes coming.

Great looking truck so far Ayoub!
Someday I hope I can learn to cut styrene that clean. Nice work on the hood. The rear mudflap brackets suit the truck very nice. I may have to copy that if you don't mind are they PMD ?

Another great dump truck build. thanks for sharing!

Ah, It all makes sense now!lol I will for sure keep the specs on hand and to be honest if I have the time I will likely build two at once and let the other one sit until someone wants it. I hope to try and build a pup in the near future. I'm fairly busy right now(thanks to everyone) but I'm sure I will get around to it soon.

Like I said, nice job!

Found some time and decided to get cracking on the Pete again.
Hydraulics installed and tested, wired the servonaut electronics and sound , tilt hood hinge secured, built a new tool/battery box since space is limited with a day cab. I just wanna get it done so not gonna bother with too much detail work, I can always get back to it and add that stuff.

That's all for now. Thanks for looking.

Thank you! The battery is powering the whole truck. It is a Turnigy 11.1v 4000mah 3s, I got like 6 of them from ebay, I used it on my 8x4 and got a total of 1.5hrs of run time with sound, lights and beacons. Charged it back up and only took 2300mah to fully charge it up again. I never let them hit voltage cut-off just to be safe.

thats awesome and funney you mention that because I was also looking into the smaller 11.1 for my yard truck build due to space limitations but I was always told theat the reg esc/motors and esspecially the MFU's should not be run on anything more than 9.6 volt or 7.4 lipo because it would fry the MFU.... im guessing that isnt true..... or are you using some kind of voltage limiter?

That is 1000% TRUE!! I never run stock electronics, they're all Servonaut from Germany . PM me if you wanna know more about them, but they're not cheap.
