Default Cat Ride On Conversion

Found this in the trash yesterday. Just wondering if anyone has done anything with one of these? Seems like it could be a potential project. It’s in decent shape, so I may just clean it up and donate it as is or save it for a future grand kid.

Haven't seen one yet, but sounds cool.
Are you thinking of building the arm into a Hydro or Cable machine?

I hope you keep the original sound module, making random construction noises by mouth.

It's still scale, and i play fairly well with others, most of the time...

LOL...I haven't even given it that much thought yet. I probably have at least 6 more months of work left on my current build, followed by a 6x6 project that I've had in mind. I just couldn't pass it up though, so I grabbed it.

Oh that's a definite keeper as is, with or without the original sound module. I have never seen anything like it.

Looks like it's even got a latch for locking the boom in the up position for traveling? I can understand the extra holes in the stick for more of less leverage on the stick, but have you figured out what the extra holes in the boom were for? From the rust on the edges of the bucket you can tell it has seen some use, so somebody loved it.

I really don’t know what those extra holes are for. If it were broken or missing major parts, I would probably be more inclined to do some type of conversion. But since it’s in good shape and mostly metal, it’s probably better that I just clean it up and keep it as is.

If you do decide to do any conversions, just be sure that you don't do anything irreversible.

I've never seen one like this before. I've seen some kid powered diggers in parks/playgrounds, but they were on a post planted in the ground and didn't have bucket curl.
