Sweet build...I like the color choice. I did the bj color scheme on my aerodyne and the grand Hauler color on my W900 aerodyne.

Keep the pic's coming.

The truck is looking great Dustin!

I'm no expert in all the various ways to slow a truck down and gain some torque.
I'm sold on the PMD gear reduction units. All 3 of my trucks use them. Although you could use a different pinion gear or higher torque motor to acheive the same result, I like how the PMD unit increases the torque after the tranny , meaning there's no extra strain on it.

Great job! The color scheme pops. It does look like a 1976 era paint job!!

As far as gear reduction I used a 55 turn motor (from Tower Hobbies, about $20) and a 6T pinion gear. (From RC4WD, about $15). It is another common way of getting the reduction. Double check the prices since my memory isn't that great.

Wow I love the color scheme! Did you come up with a name yet? How about something like blue max or blue streak? For my rig (a knight hauler) I came up with a company name based on Superman. My company name was " Kryptonite Transportation Services". Pick something you like and go with a related company name. I love your paint skills!

Thanks for all the kind words, towerhobbies put my grand hauler in the mail so that build will be gearing up so. Glad everyone likes the paint didn't know how well orange and blue go together but I was pleased, thanks again for all your advice and experience. Dustin
