Default Howdy All!!!

New guy here, and I have just ordered my first King Hauler and pretty excited about it. I have been in hobby-grade RC for over 15 years, and heavy into rock crawlers and scale crawlers for about the last 10 years. I am hoping my past experience is translatable over to the world of semis and construction RCs, and hoping to learn a lot more about the hobby in the process.

A little bit about me personally, I am retired Navy, I spent 23 years as a submarine sonar technician, and now working as a Navy contractor helping to develop the next generation of US submarines up here in a little base in Northern Idaho. One of the cool side-gigs of my job is the operation, maintenance and repair of remotely operated underwater vehicles (ROVs).

My KH should arrive sometime late next week, so until then I will be perusing though the threads on this forum looking for any tricks/tips for building and running my truck. A bit later I will add a trailer, along with a light and sound system.

I am on several other forums under the same user name.

Submarine Qualified, Chief Inducted, Navy Retired
