Dirtpit is on a distinguished road
Default Seattle new guy

Hi all,
New to construction but have been enjoying rc for over 50 years.
Was major into slope soaring including pylon racing. All sorts of airplanes.
big time into helicopters till age and reflexes gave in.
Then the evolution landed me into rock crawlers and the competitions to follow.
Built a lot of stuff from scratch that ranged from simple gliders to total scale YB 49 14' wing span, and pattern build for vaccu form crawler uni-body and so on.
I also flew full scale gliders for 25 years but sold when I had a forced retirement.

So here I am in a whole new category of fun...
I joined this forum last week and then I ordered:
Wheel Loader and Dozer with ripper from Eagle Machinery yesterday.
These should be here in a couple weeks.
Hope I am getting quality equipment to get things rolling.

I want to get two others items, mining style dump truck and when I save a bunch more money then a Excavator to top things off.

I want to show amputee buddy this hobby...I think he and many more will really enjoy it.

Anyway there is a glimpse at my RC efforts and look forward to getting to know some of you guys and learning new stuff.

BTW: if there is anyone else in the Seattle area with this attractions please contact me.

Dirtpit Rick
