You know, I was thinking the same thing. We just need some big rock trucks to feed it I need to clean these off and see if I can recover some of the gold dust stuck to these.
When I removed the belt cover on the jaw crusher , I found two pieces of stone about 2B gravel size that have streaks of gold in them

I got around to dismantling the roll crusher and discovered why the previous owner said it was very noisy..... wonder why?

One end of the shaft was pretty wiped out and bushing worn out of round
to about .060'' play between the two.
I looked around some to see if I could buy a self lubricating bushing off the shelf. No luck, custom made, so I'll be making some new ones
and I'm going to try to insert new graphite plugs in. I was thinking of building the thrust bushing up with some JB Weld with graphite mixed in.
Not sure if that will work for a bearing surface though.
