Default 966 Snow Box Plow

Here are some pics of my finished Box Plow for my 966. I was hoping to find some pics of another RC Box Plow online and on forums, but I came up with nothing. So you will see a pic of the Box Plow that I decided to replicate. The company that makes this plow is Arctic and they call it the "Sectional Sno-Plow".
My build is mainly aluminum with some metal and some brass. I have installed some quick attachment hooks that I made out of brass so I can add it with my other attachments. The Plow is 13" long and 4" tall. It is super strong and pretty light considering the size. I can't wait to get it out in the snow and shoot a video. I will post it as soon as I do it.
I drove a plow and salt truck in the winters for 13 years. So I have been thinking about a Box Plow for this 966 ever since I bought it.
I have done a lot of modifying and building, just not a lot of fabricating. So It took me a while to get this done. So I can totally see why some of you do it. Many hours, but it is very gratifying.....

Thanks for looking,
Eddie

Thanks for the compliments. Yep I hope to get some snow soon and get a video up and on youtube. There is a little bit of snow outside from a storm the other day, but it is 3 degrees right now and -1 tomorrow with 25 below windchill. Little too cold now.
Welp here are some other pics.

Very nice work and a unique attachment. What did you use to join the moldboard to the sides - JB Weld or something else? Did not appear to be aluminum soldered.

Thanks.

Thanks Ken! I thickened up the back of the plow on the top and bottom, then tapped for a couple screws. But Loctite 435 sealed the seams and added more strength.

I thickened up the top and bottom of the plow with additional aluminum pieces to accommodate the screws and to make it look a little better.

Thanks for the compliment. Welp it looks like a little snow in the forecast for today. Not sure if it will materialize. Hope so. I would like to post a new video here and up on youtube with the Box Plow...

OK, OK.... I have been talking about a video and I finally have one. But,, no snow in the video. The "good ole" forecast was wrong last Friday... So it has actually been kind of warm out. Anything that we did have, melted. So I decided to make some type of video with the Box Plow. And yes, as soon as it snows I will post a new video in the snow...
Here it is:

By the way, there is an L brace on the back of each of the sides that are screwed together. And the angled square braces have also been tapped and screwed together. It took some time for me to get those angles and the tapping precise, but it worked out great and is super strong.
