If you fellas want to stick to scale that's the proper steering wheel. doesn't need to be round or larger. There's just a small rod through the centre operating a valve under the floor.

Excellent... are you buying it complete or in what state of build?

Awesome, it was not hard to push you over the edge!

Really looking forward to see this, especially since you went with the kit, will it be Bell yellow?

An little update on my 470, i took it apart today for some modifications, paint and service, undercarrige will get some black powdercoating, new swing motor will be installed and will re-build the stick and bucket cylinder, i think i might have damaged them a little when first assembled, will replace all o-rings.

I also have a 4th valve coming from Frank that i will install as well, plan is to make some additional hydraulics for a tiltbucket or other hydraulic attachments.

More on this later this week i hope.

Your cyls starting to drip? My stick cyl is seeping a little bit, but I think it's mostly just when digging hard ground - run at max press constantly, don't see any pooling in easy digging.

Are going to use a hyd mechanism for your quik-tach?

I'm thinking about narrowing up my digging bucket 20 to 30% & making a GP bucket 50% or wider than stock.

Joe, can't remember if you cylinders came built or not? But it they are the same as mine, there are 6 bolts on the end, this removes the end cap, inside are two tiny rubber o rings acting as scrapper seals. I assume with all your digging and high pressure you're worn them out...?

Mine even came with spares..

Hope that helps?

Yes, I built my cyls too Kalle. I used lots of white Lithium grease installing the o-rings with a precise curved pic. I got spares too.

Seems odd though that they might fail already, I pretty sure I'm well under 100hrs and I changed oil at about 30hrs...

The brass tubing on mine is quite a bit different than yours (they did that).

The stick and bucket cyls are leaking a little, i have run between, 22-27 bars from the time i got it, now im on 25 i think. Im going to do it now that i have it apart so its fresh for the coming spring! Getting the smallest o-rings out should be a challenge!

Nope Joe, though i was gonna go hyd for the new one i still wanted the 4th valve for something else then just a qucik coupler, so it will most likely be a low geared motor that push the mechanism in and out.
A motor controller i have found will be used to run the motor on a 3 pos switch.
I hope to have some CAD:s from the guy who does that later this week. Will PM you about this.

I have also thought about making a larger bucket, some kind of mass bucket, with or without theets, dont know yet, also a better grading bucket will be made, my friends uncle have a plasma cutter, i will ask him to cut the pieces out, will have to make some templates first.

Looking good Kalle.

Is that a different hose on the bucket cyl, more flexible than what's provided in the kit originally?

Is your body tall enough to fit the vertical swing motor without cutting a hole in it?

Thx Joe!

Nope its the same, i use a heat gun to soften them up a little bit, then you can form the a little like you want, and when they get cold they hold the shape a little better.

I dont know yet really, but i think i may have to cut it up a little.
