Default Predator Tracks on a tractor?

Has anybody tried or thought about putting RC4WD tracks on a tractor? I have often thought about it but don't have the gumption/knowledge to try it. Not exact replica of ATI tracks but pretty close. The 1:1 only has two boogie wheels a crossed the bottom.

RC Adventures? DJ Medic? His truck is not really a King Hauler. The cab is, but that's about the extent of it. His truck is a custom chassis'ed Axial SCX-10, with two transmissions, dual brushless motors on each, and a whole lot of money stuck into it. Unless you might be thinking of someone else's video?

I think it would be a great project for someone to try. Probably not all that hard either. If you built a tractor to take the popular axles offered, which the Predator tracks also fit, that part of the build would be nothing more then bolting on the tracks. Getting to that point, would require a little more work and thought though!

I think the tractors look great on those tracks, except the John Deere for some reason. The JD just looks weird with that style track. Maybe it's the slope of the grille, and the still round rear fenders contrasting the appearance.

I am in the beginning stages of making a dozer on these tracks. Will be similar to the JD 764 high speed dozer.

Please do a build thread on this, I think the JD 764 would make a great and fun RC project!

don't forget those predator tracks need the hub adapters to stay on and at the right angles. Right now there is High lift, Trail Finder, SCX10, Wraith adapters out for them.

Also Asiatees.com has Topcad versions. bout same price but they come with 2 styles of tracks and in different colours.

I bet that's it! I hadn't really thought about the big yellow rims missing.
