Default Tamiya 3 speed transmission grease?

Is there anything special about the grease included with a Tamiya 3 speed? I'm all out and just wondering what others use as a substitute?

Thanks.

Mario

I have been using petroleum jelly in axels and tranny. Moving heavy loads, 70 lbs average, and no problems. I think lithium grease would work very well too.

Mario grab the good stuff I run in my tranny and axles either RED bearing packing grease or John Deere Black Molly grease... Its what I had you know Cat has Black Molly too.. Works great in all my trucks plus the heavy grease in packed in the diff when you build it stiffens it up so you get less one wheel wonder action going on thats a old school Rc crawler trick..

Thanks guys. I can get the black moly at work and I love the thick grease trick for the diffs! Makes sense, thanks Paul.

Shoe Goo works much better for limited slip.

White Lithium grease is a good choice too for a lubricant.
