Default Stock flatbed axles to a spread?

I am in the process of building and modifying a stock flatbed to a 48' trailer. Is there a way to make a 10' axle spread with the stock parts? I was going to order the air ride kit from The Bone Yard, but money is tight at the moment.

Default Re: Stock flatbed axles to a spread?

Stickman here's how I did mine. I have bought some air ride from Russ, and then I had springs left over. I got the flatbed body and frame in a partial trade, but it needed suspension. I was lucky the holes were drilled for the springs. So all I had to do was to mount the springs. Here are some pic's.

Hope this helps, Big John
