Default Billet Aluminium Grills

Hi All

I have three Grill templates available to suit the King Hauler at this time but I am working on others.

If you have an idea PM me as I will do custom one off Grill designs.

All Grills are made from Marine Grade Aluminium and with a bit of work polish up like chrome.

I make the Grills in two stages, mill finished or fully polished.

All grills come with 5 M3 threaded sockets (unless otherwise stated) to mount to the King Hauler Hood in the original position (you will need to obtain the screws to suit as they will be the M3 machine screw not the self tapping kit ones)

Below are the three grills that I am currently making:

Freightliner
Made from 8mm Aluminium

Mill Finish - $30AUD
Polished Finish - $40AUD

Western Star - Constellation series
Made from 8mm Aluminium

Mill Finish - $30AUD
polished Finish - $40AUD

White Western Star - Mid 70's Style
Made from 2mm Aluminium, this is secured to the hood using either double sided tape or glued on, it is smaller in size than the actual grill and too thing to tap.

Mill Finish - $20AUD
Picture to be posted soon.

More to come..........

Cheers
Paul

The freightliner grill is beautiful and was pleasantly surprised to see that they were already drilled and set to bolt right on to the king hauler cab. Will post pics when I get it mounted to the new daycab along with the new headlights.

Hi All

A new addition, a Pete 362 Grill

I have made this 2mm thick so it will sit flush with the cab face if you run a piece of styrene behind it as a mounting point.

It is fully Polished and has Stainless Steel mesh to finish it off in the two openings. I will post a picture of one I have completed soon.

Below is an update to the Late Model Western Star Grill

This one will require the hood to be flattened down to meet the grill and give it the classic Western Star 4864 look

Both are $40 polished

Cheers
Paul

Hi All

Finished making the Grills posted above

Peterbilt 362 - Still to have the SS mesh fitted to it and the owner will polish it.

Early White Road Boss / Western Star Grill ready to be mounted to the Hood

Late Model Western Star 4800/4900 Constellation Series Grill
- with this one, the top of the Hood needs to be lowered and flattened off like the 1:1 is.
- it can be made to suit the King Hauler Hood Shape if it is preferred.

Hi Bigford

I have these two ready to go so would not be hard to do a three post

1st is a seven post and second is a thirteen post

If you want one just PM me and I will get it done for you, I have a couple on the go at the moment for a fellow RC Trucker but I could start another one once they are finished.

Question Re: Billet Aluminium Grills

Hi all

below are a couple of designs I have done and it would be really good to get some feedback

I have been asked to do a grill for a KW W900 and a Western Star 4900 series but both are to fit the Hood with the original mounting and no Hood mods, The previous Western Star 4800 series I did was a scale size and the owner will modify the Hood to suit.

Please provide some feedback, good or bad, this is how we get better

Cheers
Paul

1st: KW W900

2nd: WS 4900

Update:

Two new Grills

Western Star - direct fit to the KH Hood

Freightliner FLA - Suit Globe with some modification to the front, height is the same but the sides will need to be filled with styrene. (air intake available on request)

Any chance of making a KW grill based on the "Movin On" truck?

Here is a quick design I have just done, its a basic three bar W900 Grill, I think the Emblem boss could be a little bigger, just needs mesh added to the back to finish it off.

This will replace the KH grill with no Hood modifications, to get the true shape you would need to modify your Hood but I can make one to suit if you wanted it to be scale.

If anyone would like to have one made just PM me. $40AUD plus postage.
