Default mfu 03 help

Hi

I have a mfu03 and going to use a futaba 14sg transmitter as I also fly helicopters need the left throttle stick to not be self centering and also as this has digital trims not sure the best way to sort this out.
I have been told a fee different ways regarding endpoint adjustment any ideas.
I have seen on u tube where the forward and reverse is selected by up and down movement on the right stick and throttle control still on left any ideas would be apprehiated

Would switching the throttle / gear change servo leads on the reciever to the steer / light - horn servo leads on the receiver work as a simple solution ?

Cheers Tracy
