Lipo charging device question

Never seen this device before and wondering if it's safe to use. All my lipos are xt60 plugs and this sure would be handy for charging.

(Be sure to charge only batteries of the same voltage and cell count at the same time (2S with 2S, 3S with 3S, etc.). Connecting batteries of different cell counts to the Paraboard at the same time will result in immediate damage to your batteries and the Paraboard and may result in fire. Charging batteries of different capacities together (for example, one 11.1V 2200mAh battery and one 11.1V 5000mAh battery) is ok, but the voltage of all batteries must be the same)

Don,t do it just bite the bulit and buy a multi port charger.

Also if you don't have a charger that will do 200w or more then it's not worth it.

Thanks everyone. My current charger is only 80watt and Travis made a good point. It's time to get a new, better charger for sure.
Any suggestions on a good quality multi port charger out there?

All depends on your budget and the type of batteries you are charging.

Majority of my batteries that I'd like to multi charge are 2S. 2200ma. And I'm probably going to have to pay atleast 200 for a decent charger?

Easiest one to get a hold of and is ac/dc is the Hitec 4x plus but it's a little higher then your budget: http://www.greathobbies.com/producti...od_id=HIT44167
You can get a hobbyking kind of version but it's dc only so you'd need to get a power supply to use it.

I should have been smart instead of cheap when I started in this hobby. This will be my 4th upgrade in battery chargers I've already spent that much on cheaper ones and should have just got one of these in the first place!

In this hobby I have a few things that I don't cheap out on and one of them is a charger as it's something you don't want to replace that often and the better the charger the better they care for your battery and the longer they will last. I can't promises it'll be your last charger but it will last you a long time.

I could send you a link to my charger but I'm sure that would scare the **** out of you at just the price tag and then you need a highend powersupply to run it.

I got this exact charger from the bst on this here forum a yr ago... works awesome! Left side of the charger I have programed for 3s & the right side is 4s; and most everyday there's atleast 3 batts being charged simultaneously.

Yes get the HiTec it is worth it and I as well as most of the guys I know have one.

Cellpro powerlab 6 or 8 and the iCharger 4010 duo would be the last chargers you would need. Buy once, cry once and you're done. I went through 4 lipo chargers before biting the bullet on a high dollar system.

You shouldn't...even if you were running heli's or boats and you have to charge multiple 6s lipo's quickly. It's the safest, most accurate charger I've ever had. I juice it up with a 24v 1150w power supply.

I looked at the power lab and the parallel adapter. Can the power lab charge more than one battery at a time without the parallel adapter? How do you monitor how much you put in each pack when charging with the parallel adapter? How do the charger and adapter regulate the charging rater of each pack? With NiMh how does it regulate the current to each battery?

I can't answer those questions as I don't parallel charge, but I will test it out and see how it works.

I found I don't need too as I can charge most batteries in 20mins I have a power supply connected to it as well
