sgtazza is on a distinguished road
Default Hobby Engine Wheeled loader project.

Hi all,

I've been a passive observer for a while, and fancy a gentle reintroduction to R/C.

So I thought I'd begin with a Hobby Engine Wheeled Loader, and it's shall we say, not the best!
After seeing some of the awesome builds on here, I'm in the mood for improving, and no doubt completely rebuilding it.

Here's what it did look like:

I'm not sure quite what manufacturer this is supposed to be mimicking? If anyone can help that would be great.

It's now a pile of parts on my table :-) so it begins...

I'm thinking of building a chassis to house solid Tamiya TLT axels front and rear, with a suitable transfer box (not sure which yet) and dual motors for torque?

Any suggestions on parts and where to get them would be appreciated.

I look forward to haunting these pages for a long time to come.

Cheers
Aran
