Freddy, couple of questions for you. Where do you get your hydraulics and where did you get the diamond plate?

Do you use a CNC machine for cutting your parts. This is looking great, keep up the good work!!! A+

Chris,I use JB weld, plates & screws.
Thanks!
Z/C,I use a scroll saw to make most of my cuts.

First have to make sure you mark it properly,Yu know, measure twice & cut once.

There's a reason I show the bees wax in the first pic. Also the main thing is not to force feed it,Let the saw take what it wants & it won't wander all over.
Let me know if this helps.

Gee Cowboy, Thanks!
Now the trailer, here's a few pics of build so far.

Thanks for lookin!

Trailer almost looks as good as the truck I still can't believe you just use a scroll saw to do the majority of your metal work.

Freddy, I use a scroll saw as well. I have been needing to get a variable speed unit. What brand and model is yours? I know what you mean about feeding it slow and just giving it what is wants. What size of blade do you use, teeth wise? Thanks for the input.

Fred your looking good with the build. I bought 2 lb. blocks of wax and tried it and a little goes a long way. Hit it once with the wax and cut out 2 mirrors for the excavator. Ed

AAAWWWW.......Now you got me TC1. I actually have a mimi lazer in my basement. These are the parts I just got done burnin out this mornin.

Yea,you should'a seen the look on the chicks face at the power company when I told her I wanted to put a 3phase 400amp service into a residential house. To run my lazer.
Now Z/C,I'm givin you some of my secrets here, would be nice if it don't come back & bite me in the butt.
I use 3 different teeth per inch blades.

Fine you use for very thin aluminium.Medium for a little thicker,& coarse for thick alum. If you try to use coarse for thin,it'll just grab it. Fine or med on thick alum will run hot & Just make a mess. Be sure to hit blade w/bee's wax about every 15 seconds if you want perfect cuts. If the blade gets hot,it's all over.
Hey Jammer,I won't say I told you so. Works slick don't it?
Well Guys & Gales,Thanks for the nice complements!
A little more work on the trailer

I can't believe how much the truck settled from all the weight.

Yea,this babies gittin some more springs,it's draggin it's butt now,& there's still a lot more parts that weight yet to go in.
I'de have to haul cotton balls for a load
Here's a couple more pics of the two hooked together.

Yea,she'll look a lot better sittin level. Glad I didn't waste the parts makin it front wheel drive. Those back axles have a LOT of weight on them.
Thanks for lookin!

Fred it does work and it isn't as messy as ATF. The 2 mirrors for the excavator I just hit it once timer with each mirror. The blocks I got are thick so that may be the reason it cut so well with out having to keep putting it on because I notice it filled the teeth with wax. Ed

Fred there is one other thing I noticed you have a solid table were as mine has a plastic insert were the blade goes through the table. I am going to have to make another plate out of thick aluminum to replace it because if flexes on short pieces. Ed

I use the same setup on mine, more teeth for the smaller material. I just forgot about the bee wax, I have been working with these machines since I was 12 and you would think I would have remembered. I just ordered some wax, I am sure it will go a long way, keep up the great work!

Pfft..you can't do that with just a scroll saw.. I think there is a full CNC setup hiding behind the cardboard "curtain".

Nice work Fred.

bout time somebody used oil shocks as cylinders - best not boost your pump up to 15 bar though.....might get messy....

But honestly - let us know how they hold up!
