Oh that's great! I love being a bad influence on people... Got a friend or two in trouble over the years "inspiring them"... Would hate to stop now

I think you guys find my work more entertaining than it really is.lol I just put 5lbs of carbide in the middle of the chassis to see about getting more traction. It still goes bat sh!t crazy! I love it! Gotta move the pickup out of the shop thought as I ran into the back tire and had to wipe a rubber mark off the aluminum grill. Thought I broke the bumper for a second.lol This is why I have decided this will stay KH bodied! It's gonna get hurt and I'll cry if I spend days building a custom aluminum body and then ruin it.

It's getting there! While you guys are eating popcorn I've been trying to get stuff done. Still much to do but after every step I end up having to test. It's making the process take much longer than planned.

I plan to solid mount the outer 6 boards and have the middle one lift out for battery access. I think it will work out OK. Need to make a headboard and bumper next then do some final mounting of stuff. Eventually I will have to make hubs for the rear wheels so that they quit falling off!

Anyone have a new KH cab they want to sell? I need one!

Just like truckmaker said, murder it out!! And get one of the gyros, I used one in our 1/16 stadium trucks and it really tracked good. I've been wanting to get some hard tires for the stadium truck to do just the same thing in garage!!! Chase whatever animal is around!! You have inspired me also!!! And yup, on the bad side of inspiration , now I got to dig out the extra aeromax can I have!! I guess it will be safe to say, monkey see, monkey doooo!!!!

Thanks for adding more work, and being the bad idea inspirer. !!! Love it

I don't know about the flat black idea. I'm not a fan of that personally. I guess it looks cool on the right vehicle but as a teenager of the 90's I'm more drawn to flashy things. Not saying this truck is or will be flashy but that's where I would go if I liked painting.lol At any rate, I am happy to get another person on board with creating a totally useless category of truck! This thing would be a lot more fun if I had some smooth pavement close by or access to an arena. I am curious as to how fast it would go if given the space. I'm sure if it had 3rd gear it would probably do 20mph or so. Right now as soon as I touch the throttle it spins out in second on the shop floor. I only have about 20' of open space so it's hard to tell what it's really doing. These tires get no traction what so ever on the front or rear...Perfect!

Who knows RW, maybe my next purchase will inspire you as well.

PS-Anyone find a cab for me yet?lol

More stupidness... Had to practice hauling a lift of lumber...

I finished up the flatbed today. I will probably have it powder coated and stain the boards. Then I need to add some tanks and stuff.

Just point in the direction you want to go, and punch it, the gyro automatically steer in that direction. Basically makes it more fun for idiot drivers like myself. Watch some of the drift RC car videos. It's insane how precise some of that stuff is.

I think this truck needs an "anti gyro". It gets so little traction that you can't give it full throttle even in first gear without it going into a spin. I guess it's perfect for what I built it for but it's actually kinda frustrating. I think the main problem is actually a lack of space to let it rip. If you could slowly build up speed instead of punching it I think it would be a lot better.

I have the same problem with mine even on carpet with traction tires. Mine will even spin the tires with the trailer on.

I spent a little time on this today. I made up a pan hard bar, stained the deck and cut some tail light lenses out of an old reflector.

Then it was "test time"...
