Default Just Playing Around

Been playing around with designing this in my spare time (which isn't much). Not sure when it will become something I can play with, just thought I would share it.

This is very interesting since I've always enjoyed the extra-long specialized haulers. Take a look at Bo Wallen's beam hauler. http://rctruckandconstruction.com/sh...ad.php?t=11396
It was at Cabin Fever Expo and he could thread a needle with it - frontwards or backwards! Was a very amazing, articulated rig.

Nice looking start. Have you ever seen the videos of Willy driving Ric's heavy hauler trailer around at Indy all by himself. Ric's trailer had a rear steering dolly which he controlled with just 1 radio for tractor and trailer. He even had the rear of the trailer ahead of the tractor at one point. Was quite the show for all that day.

Got a little done on the jeep with the crossmembers and such. Starting to work on some suspension ideas. Will have to make my own axle housings and the track width is considerably wider on this trailer.
