New guys joining when its slow?

Anybody else ever notice we tend to get more new members joining during spring/summer when most of the builds slow down?

I've just been wondering why it works that way.

I can't say it had anything to do with that I joined this summer.
I came across this forum after watching videos from Lil giant on Youtube and wanted to explore more about these kind of machines.
