Demag TC 500 truck crane in scale 1/24

Awesome work! Must have taken a lot of work to get all those rods adjusted to the proper lengths so all those wheel sets will turn to different radiuses simultaneously. Were you able to scale off your drawings or did you have to calculate all of them?

the crane could tow the trailer, but it gets very long and is rarely done. I am still thinking what to make to pull the trailer.

It took me about 4 years altogether!
I spent the summer painting it. This was quite a time consuming job, taking it all apart and spray painting every part, then putting it together again.

I did. This crane lifts more than it is supposed to do. The whole crane turned out to be a bit heavier that it should be, but that results in better capacities. The extra weight is useful when erecting the full 10' of boom.
