Here is the progress on my Mack cruiseliner.

I found some king rails so she is sitting at about 220" with the front axel moved forward.
The cab is ready for pin strips and then chrome. I have started on the grill.

Tomorrow I plan to machine up some fuel tanks.

Not much of an update but I made some "S" bend grab irons and a grill out of stainless.

The late version of the cruiseliner shared a superliner grill

I am adding pin stripes to it tonight.. Should have more pics this weekend.

Got the pin stripes on and put some of the chrome back on. The grill is temporary. I need to find a more horizontal tube pattern but it will work for now.

Tomorrow I will install the step ladders and work on head lights

That thing is looking awesome, where is the grill from? Those cruiseliners always remind me of Paulie Hauling, "love machine/ pig pen" from Convoy.

Thanks guys...i need to source a small bulldog for the front . Any ideas where to find one?

I made the grill out of stainless strips bent at 90* then drilled holes to hold it together with screws.the screen mesh I found at work...permant pen for the letters...

I was going to paint it like the convoy rig but I was not sure if my painting skills were up to the task.

Seriously nice work on that cab! I didn't know a Globeliner could ever look so good as a Mack! Your paint job looks really nice. Very clean masking. I like this build. The headlights are going to finish it off well!

That does look fantastic! Its always the little subtle details that do it for me!

Really nice job on the paint too, red and white combos would have been really popular on 80's rigs, so I like how you have stuck with the period correct retro theme

I have always been a fan of the globeliner COE look, (not so much the tamiya grille though) so I am always interested to see what people do with them B)

Good to know...I will see if I can find someone with a spare dog..

The globe cab is a pretty good starting point for an early 80's Coe

The bunk is bigger than most but it still can hold the part with limited modifcations for just about any truck mfg.

Here is the first day out on the road. I still need to add a few things but it's coming along nicely. I orderd some Bruder bull dogs for this and my other Mack I'm building. Led's are installed just need to wire them up. Still undecided if I want to keep it a single stack Mack or make it more of a show truck with dual stacks. I put some rc4wd tires on for traction and also bought one of their 4 channel radios. I really like how it is a pistol grip yet has 2 separate 3 position switches to control the transmission or other servo function.

Thanks for looking
