Default First build, scania R620

So about 2 months back I got an R620 for my birthday and im getting to the stage that i'm customizing it to my liking.

so i'm planning on getting chrome tanks for either side, and scale diamond plate deck on it. I moved the battery to up in the cab out of the way.

I did more mods to my truck today, I ditched the futaba steering servo and replaced it with a traxxas mini servo so I could mount it under the cab.

I'v now got 2 tanks, a 3Racing Light Unit and a new radio system coming (I needed more channels for Izzy's trailer)

So small update, i'm currently waiting on:

A 6 channel radio system

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/390511348... 4.m1497.l2649

A 3Racing light unit

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/221151498... 4.m1497.l2649

A 65T motor

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/310550602...ht_2841wt_1163

An RC4WD R2, 2 speed transmission

http://store.rc4wd.com/R2-Black-2-Sp...ion_p_841.html

and a punisher shaft

http://store.rc4wd.com/Punisher-Shaf...ole_p_815.html

Eventually i'll get a TLT-1 for a front axle, but that will happen when I get the money, but that's why I got the transmission.

any questions, criticisms or recommendations would be nice.

Thanks Buzzy

Thanks, the tanks are from Russ, I polished them up but they seem to like finger prints. Haha
And I ended up changing that setup out for the original servo, I have the steering servo and gear servo setup like they are in the knight hauler. Even that is struggling abit, I'll see how it goes once I get a trailer on it then I might buy a high torque servo.

Yes I was thinking that but for now I cant be bothered trying to work out how to do it, so I put my traxxas slash back together ( which is where the servo was from)

heres a look at the steering and gear servo's, not the best angle but its hard to get an undercarriage shot.

here my nice mess of wires...

ad this is what i'm putting on the deck once I get the back box all sorted out and mounted.

so I'v been abit busy today on the truck, I have put the first part of the deck plate on and made up a mount for the fifth wheel servo, it got the better of me so I pulled my slash apart again to use the servo. unfortunately the stock fifth wheel rod isn't long enough so I'v ordered a 300mm rod which will probably take a couple of weeks to get here.

here's the deck plate.

Buzzy - the makers for servo bits make a charge plug holder - like these
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXH456&P=ML
I suggest something like them
and there is one for the Deans plugs too - but it is fairly new on the market ...
- i founf this on a google search

thanks izzy, but according to tracking it's already in Australia, so it would be sad if it took 4 days to get to Australia then another 5 to get to my place, so fingers crossed.
and thanks for the brackets.
