Default Custom Tamiya Aeromax w low loader

hi guys

i'm new in here, mostly i walk around in 'the big grey scaler forum'

really like all the trucks in here, so i decided to post my really first finished truck as well, normaly i'm into scalers and nitros, but since a few months i'm infected into semi trucks an trailers.

actually, i'm at a project called 'the beast'. will post in here soon, was p****d of this build, then i decided to buy a good used truck to have the possibility to drive around....

well, didn't even take a pic of the truck when i bought it. it took about 2 hours until i started to modify... well, that's me....

here's a shot of the truck where it looked 'almost' original

then i added some body kit :-)

and started on making a low price low loader....

...with 'hydraulic ramps'

the truck got an interior

and a new front grill

here's the electronics

from left to right

light unit (developed by and distributed by me an my friends)
sound unit
ESC
8 channel receiver

then the first bunch of paint...

then i did my very first try in airbrushing, decided to do a true fire paint job in green

self made t-bar

the first of 3 coats of clear coat

self made stacks (from here it got difficult to take photographs because of the 3 coats of clear gave it a mirror shiny look :-))

'leathered' interior

detail of the ramps

the low loader painted and finished

hope you like the truck guys :-)

What a superb build! Really detailed with a very nice finishing touch. I want to make that kind of low boy with a bruder trailer I already bought some time ago and yours is one of the best looking one I saw to date. I'll probably steal some design ideas... Your painting result is amazing, particularly for a "first time airbrushing"
If I can ask a question, where was that meeting? It seem to bee a permanent installation, it must be in Europe is it open to public?
Anyway, great job so far!

Wow, if the super hero, Green Hornet drove over the road trucks, this is what his ride would like! Very unique.

Nice work! The truck came out great. That body kit is very nice, who makes it? The tires from Conrad look great on the bruder loader conversion. All around great work.

Hi cbazq271, those "orange rotator light on the ramps" look like Pistenking beacons if I am right, look a this thread http://www.rctruckandconstruction.co...read.php?t=157 page 4 truck tech. these afew builds on here that use them including FGD
If I'm wrong someone can remove this post.....

Cheers Tracy

Very nice - I like the flames and the cab mods are truely unique. Good job on the ramps - I'm impressed.
