Default 53 Foot Flat Deck Trailer

I decided to build a longer flat deck trailer than what is available from Tamiya. I started with their flat deck trailer kit, and then bought some aluminum pieces to make it longer.
Then I made up some suspension parts and bought some airbags from PMD.

The first set up didn't work to well as the trailing arm rubbed the tires, so I had to move it inboard a bit.
The final setup looks like this.
Just about finished now, just painting and finishing the deck left to do.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the comments. I haven't picked up a truck yet, I wanted to see if I could make the trailer I wanted first. I am planning on getting a truck in the new year. I am leaning towards an Aeromax, as it kind of looks like the Sterling I used to drive.
Wayne the wood is 3/16 thick. I found it at Hobby Wholesale in Edmonton.

Nice trailer Todd. Did you make the main beams yourself, or buy them somewhere?

I made the main beams myself. They are a bit thicker than the Tamiya ones. I picked up the aluminum at Metal Superstore and had them cut to length. Then I traced out the Tamiya shape and cut them with a jigsaw and filed them smooth.
