Thanks , Tom . The pins and bushings are pressed into the rails(links) . Even the master pin is some what I'll be cutting snap ring groves in them . I was going to use the split master link , but I just didn't trust the bolts .

Here's a few more update pics . I have the chains assembled and pads on one side . Track frames almost done . New cab mocked up ( stickin with the B I don't want some komatsuized machine )

I think the ads on PB is killing me on this old (new to me ) puter . I can't update safari on it anymore . It's getting close to the 990's weight I started drawing up the hood and finalizing the cab . I've been playing with the 3D side of cad again and drew up the interior . I know, me with an interior in a model.

Tackleing the planetaries . I robbed the planetaries from my scraper since I'll be redoing the drive train in them .

How sweet it is when you have all the right tooling & the knowledge to use it to make whatever you want (I have no idea what I am talking about, I just assume it'd be sweet )... looking real good Steve

What's it weight getting to?

I agree steve-your machine work is perfect looking to me. The track (rails?)
look just like a real machine. The details are outstanding. This is probably the most realistic model of a dozer I have seen on this forum. Great work!!
