Default FRV new project

so the boys at Frigid River Ventures towing and repairs needed a new tow truck but there was not a lot of money but there was a lot of parts lying around the wrecking yard next door so they got at it

then a wife showed up and that was the end

Is that a "scale" 1/10 scale Freightliner Cenrury Class on the floor? A lot of nice detail to look at!

So it's 1/32 scale in 1:1 but I was trying to figure out what it is in the diorama based on comparing it to the other stuff I'd figure it to be about 1/10th maybe?

not really a build thread cause I am bad with picture taking while I build so here is where the boys are at
cut the body apart and tilt the cab

added the back of the cab detail

check the boom assembly placement

welded up the cracks in the cab

mount the wrecker deck on the chassis and get the boom mounting figured out

and there is where the boys are now

so as it happens I forgot to post progress so here is a bunch of pictures this truck was never intended to be a show quality build I wanted it to look like a recycled junk yard find so I left a lot of imperfection.
