I think you should create a "gentleman's" club in your town. It could be called "The Fuzzy Wall". Sounds like an interesting place to me.

Lou is right, we have no hope of catching fire like you guys out east. We just don't have the group of hardcore guys out here. Keep pushing forward Mario. I am looking forward to all the videos and pictures that won't get taken at your meet in 16.lol I know you will all be having too much fun to touch a camera!

Thanks Lou. I hope you and the family had a great Christmas. Yes, being far away really sucks but something tells me that's a blessing in disguise....might not have a wife if we lived any closer.

Judging by yours and Lou, Robs builds looks hardcore to me.
Not to worry about pics and videos. As a precautionary measure, there'll be a reporter with camera and a local online video news reporter.

As the mayor of my RC town I say "no building or electrical permits are required!" ...and that's a good thing.

That looks cool,
but as a qualified electrician its my duty to report unsafe wiring to the inspection board.

lucky its only 9v......

any thoughts of a maintenance shed with a truck lift.
I was going to make a scissor lift and use a screw drive for the lifting mechanism, but that will have to wait for winter.

keep up the good work.

cheers andy

Yes you must! It's not like going to a store and walking out with your purchase, it takes awhile.....well, a Canadian passport did.

I like your winter attitude Mike Glad you like. Nothing near to the beautiful stuff you have but I'm happy with the end result of my first real attempt at a scale size building. I still need to get my hands on some of that hardie plank and see what it's like.

Thanks Andy. Atleast I put the light switch in a proper location
there may come a time when I add some more smaller details and functions for the buildings but for now I'm mainly focused on getting more built for the yard. I'd love to have things like you mentioned but full time outdoor living is not electronics and mechanical friendly in my neck of the woods
Who knows, I don't plan on moving anymore. It'll be interesting to see what the park looks like 3-4 yrs from now.

Thanks, glad you like. It's no masterpiece or work of art but I agree, I think it will look good in the backyard. I can't wait till next spring to set it up!

Thanks Brandon.

It was only a few days ago I was telling Andy how I wasn't going to get into details on this shop build and got plenty more stuff to make..... Until today. I was looking for something and suddenly found some old tamiya stickers I forgot I had. That's when I thought, the shop just has to have a couple license plates on the wall which then kinda went from there.
The icing on the cake is the picture of my old Impala on the shop wall.
That's it! No more details!:

And a video tour of the shop...... http://youtu.be/ZyNf_ni-qqo

Shop looks great Mario! The wall details really add to the look with Impala up there. Only one thing missing though, is your shingle hanging over the front roll doors, right under the light. Can't have people wondering who owns that great shop!!! MARIO'S MECHANICAL'S or something like that.
Rob

Thanks R dub, when you put it that way, I guess I am covering a few aspects of the hobby eh? . And it's a really good thing because with the Canadian dollar so low, I couldn't afford to build a truck or machine right now. Making buildings will keep me busy and not break the bank this winter.

Thanks Andy. If you scale it up, it would be a wall mural type picture I guess but I like the look

Your absolutely right Rob about a sign and name. Seems like since I came up with S&M for a company name I'm all out of new ideas! one of our club members 1985kenworth ( Dwayne ) built a garage last summer and named it " the rusted bolt " I think something along those lines would be perfect.

Maybe you could put a loft upstairs and call it "Beaver's Bunkhouse"? That would actually be a good name for a bar....

Reg's comments always have a hint of female companionship. You been out at sea too often? Lol!!!! Hahaha.

I was going to say the donkeys house,,,,,, referring to supermario and donkey kong video game,,,,, but I'm sure that tan get twisted pretty easily if the next building was named the fuzzy wall!!!!!!!!

Oh Mario, what fun you will have when we are up there!!!! Lol!!!!!!!!
