Neil, very cool pics. Thanks for the links, I especially like the yellow Pete. Here is a few pics of what I was going after. Kind of a cross between a old Mack H model that somebody has restored and made into a clean parade truck.

Thanks for your links.

That's a keeper! I've always enjoyed seeing builds of lesser known trucks. This definitely fits the list, and you did a great job.

Did you notice the checker plate and indicators on the top of the fenders on the MACK?
Thanks Oztruck, yes I did. I have the turn signals, just waiting on the diamond plate.

I must say you did a fantastic job on this truck. I like things that are different, and this is no exception. And I think orange was the perfect color choice. GREAT JOB!!!

Ok, so I did a little more on it tonight. I should have paid a little more attention to the wheel base because a stock King Hauler drive shaft was 3/8" to short, so instead of a custom shaft I lengthened the front shaft carrier.

[IMG][/IMG]

[IMG][/IMG]

[IMG][/IMG]

[IMG][/IMG]

Then I finished the dash and installed it along with the seat pan and seats.

[IMG][/IMG]

[IMG][/IMG]

Then I made a fifth shell release lever.

[IMG][/IMG]

[IMG][/IMG]

[IMG][/IMG]

Then I got my diamond plate for the fender tops, cut to fit but not installed until there painted. I'm thinking either silver or orange to match the truck, not sure yet.

[IMG][/IMG]

[IMG][/IMG]

Installed the mirrors and side glass.
