Impressing as always! But it looks like you let the chain actually slide against the housing walls? Never seen that before. Don´t you think that will create noise and an aluminum slurry?

Yep, your right about that Stefan. Due a small design error I made the housing little too small, but it doesn't keep any noise and hopefully with some grease inside it don't eat it self thru the housing

I see, its a bug and not a feature Well, in any case, the chain plates might dig in a millimeter or so (actually half a millimeter if you have the 6 mm pitched chains), but then the rollers start rolling on the land between the grooves and the wear rate should decrease.

Some progress with the undercarriage. The drive end is pretty much done but the front idler still needs to be done.

That's actually a U-profile that's machined that way.

Got the idler wheel and track tension mechanism done
