Anyone have experience with these? Are they worth the money?

Details in the paint and with the premium u can control the bucket to drop the product. I think they have videos that show you , or go youtube . But no invest in the cheap.

From what I've read on the WEB: the Standard version has a slip clutch which slips if you put any real weight, as in dirt. in the bucket. A mod has been posted to fix this. There's a video on YouTube and the mod itself is on, I believe RC-Trucking. Search: Hobby Engine Excavator Mod.

I had one of the Premium models. It will move real dirt, but it's a loader, not a digger. The bucket would not go below the tracks, at least not very far. In other words, it can't dig a hole. Might as well get a loader.

I have been tossing up whether to just do a Bruder conversion or buying the hobby engine one, although the HE are difficult to find at the moment...Pumptech, would you consider building and selling a few of the screwdrives?

Hey Baker3 ,I appreciate you wanting me to build some screwdrive rams for you ,I'm unable to ,I am not set up as a vendor to sell .

Here's my build thread for the screwdrives (welding involved)

I don't think member Jigglepin would mine ,here's his build thread for the screwdrives (no welding involved)
