Thanks Kent. I'm very happy with the results and had so much fun building, I definitely want to do another conversion!
I see why guys do this. It's not just about saving money because you can't afford the real thing, it's about seeing what you can make and how it may or may not perform.



Well I have my first signs of the season coming to an end.... It was 80 degrees on Sunday, I raked and swept up the entire RC park. Monday was 50 and rain with high winds.
Here is what the yard looks like today......







Not nearly as depressed as years past when all rc fun stopped. With my basement shop the building fun can start.
