Default cable retract

building a exspandable flatbed trailer with steering rear axles trying to figure out how to make the servo lead going from servo to truck to coil in and out when trailer is closed or exspanded any help would be appreciated

On the 1:1 logging trucks, here in Washington State, we hang all of our umbilicals on the sliding reach, suspended via cable loops. Each section has enough slack draped between it that it won't pull umbelicals apart when we stretch out, but not so much that it drags when fully shortened.
