Joes right...im just using the leimbach pump and with the tests iv made it seems to manage the bigger logs no problem..I do need to add weight in the counterweight though..may have to use some lead

I did make some more progress on the cab..I got it properly mounted with a hing point wich will make it legal to haul on hyway...I can hide a bunch of electrical and keep it away from oil leaks...I also made steps for the operator

Lou, Looking good, cab extension looks right, I really like the steps with the expanded metal and the hand holds, that kind of detail adds so much to the finished machine. Theres got to be something in the water that makes the Vancouver Island guys such great model builders!! Fred

Wow I cant beleive the great responses this conversion is getting ...thanks a bunch eveyone..I cant wait til I get it finished so I can go out n play with greg and rob.. lol
Lorenzo I tried to find a pic of the cab in the folding down position ...Yes that is the way they transport them on public roads ...I did see one in transport that way last summer but didnt have my camera with me...I dont think my lowboy would be able to haul it with it streched out that way...would need one of those special rigs with the extra dolly in the rear..
Thanks again everyone cheers Lou
