Default i need a paint stripper not sanding this time!

i got this old tamiya scania body, it still has some life i just need to be stripped not sanded. the old paint is thick and has filled in the detail. also i used a sign paint on it that is a three part paint and it just giggles at brake fluid! so is there anything out there that is strong enough to get auto style paint of of plastic without killing the body? i read somewhere about citristrip and Klean-Strip Paint Remover for Plastic, but i can't seem to find much info on either of these products .

i don't really have 140$ to get a new body and i just need a bumper and fenders to fix this one! so any help would great guys. i =

You could try some Castrol Super Clean. It comes in a purple bottle and can be found at Autozone and other car parts places. I've used it to stripe chrome off plastic parts (didn't harm the plastic), and it takes anodizing off aluminum. It's pretty strong stuff, but requires soaking for a few minutes to do it's job.

See the "paint removal" sticky in the body shop section, should give you some ideas.

For the hardbody tamiya bruiser I have, I used DOT 4 brake fluid. Worked amazingly! just takes time.
