Default Finally bit the bullet!!

Well I finally bit the bullet and joined the hydraulic side of the hobby.

Got it this week and it is up and running as I write this. No leaks and nothing wrong when it arrived. It does have the new style cylinders on it with the removable end caps.

Now, if I can make it to Nates next weekend to play with it. Would be a very long Sat. as I can only make it for 1 day.

Thanks. After hearing all of the problems most are having with the RC4WD vehicles, I am glad that this one is running like a top!!

Congrats on the sweet buy! Let me know how you like it. I actually just ordered mine directly from Eagle yesterday and having it shipped by boat to save some on transport but will have to be patient for it to arrive!

Nice piece of equipment Lynn! Can't wait to see it this next week at Nate's. You can leave it with Alex and myself for Sunday and we'll run it thru it's course!

Congrats Lynn on pulling the trigger!

I'd like to have seen the look on your face the first time you picked it up out of the package. I'll never forget that moment. Made me realize my Rc hobby just got serious.

Wish you all the best and lots of fun! Planning any custom touches for it yet? Some mirrors and railings perhaps? Cab mounted light bezels?

Small update: Had a great time at Nate's last month with the excavator. After our resident electronics guru retuned the radio and changed the lights on/off switch, I put 2 batteries thru the beast with no problems other than of my own making. I keep checking the cylinders and everything else looking for leaks but happily finding none. Ordered some spare parts from RC4WD this week just to have on hand. Also ordered one of the Siberian buckets for some serious work at Nate's next time.

After saying that I would not get into the hydraulic side of the hobby for so long, I am glad that I finally did. Just running the trucks around was loosing my interest in the hobby. Now I am looking forward to the many shows- I hope- that I want to attend next year. Need to get the tracked loader and bulldozer running now!! Both are all electric
