Here is my steps to RC'ing a JD Big Farms combine

Looks like you are off to a running start, and a solid plan. Two questions, what scale is it, and is the head, ( I think that's what you call it) going to rotate?

Hey Jon, Ertl rates it as 1/16, but it is closer to 1/14. The header will raise and lower and the reel will rotate along with the auger. The unloading auger will swing out as well. This is the 3rd one I've done but first time taken step by step pics.

Here is a partial parts list as I go:

1.Ball bearings (3/16x5/16x1/8) 2 pcs
2. Motors: (2)
RC4WD z-E0051 @ 52 rpm @ 6v OR
Servocity 45-90 rpm micro motor
3. Motor: (1)
B104 micro gear motor (for drive system)
4. Vex robotic basic sprocket and chain set
5. 1/8" brass rod
6. 1/8" brass tube
7. Hitec 645 servos (2)
8. Styrene sheet .80 (1pc)
9. Drive Shaft (RC4WD) Scale Nylon Short punisher shaft
