Update on the Bull Bar for this beasty...

Tamiya BB arrived yesterday, so, I started modding it to suit the MAN,
After re-building the front bumper, I started on the uprights, What I have done here is cover the Tami uprights with 1mm Evergreen sheet, also inserted the Tami cross bars inside Evergreen tube and secured them in place with longer screws....

Not looking too bad....

Next was to cut the Bumper to fit the lights....

Coming together now....

Wadda ya think, Tim...Will I make the grade in the 1800-BB-TIMMY School of Bull Bar building???

Hey Tim,

Shaun and I planned to surprise ya, I was coming over for the Truck Show, But, work has decided that 2 weeks holidays in 28 years is enough, So, now they have cancelled my next break 21st July- 4th Aug, So, I won't be there, So Sorry, mate

The BB, Yeah, come up nice I think, Really wanted to use Aluminium, But, just couldn't do it

The BB for the Scania will be interesting, keep me posted on that one

Hey Paul was just wondering material did you use for your aerials on the mirrors? I was thinking of using mig weld wire but you can't hardly see them on there.

Hey Ya!!

It's spring wire I got from my LHS, 18 inch length for around $3.00.

Have a look in the Aeroplane section of your LHS, I think it's used in Plane model making for operating the airelons on the wings.

The little black bit on the top of my Aerials is just the outer plastic sheath from some old servo wire.

Hope this helps.

Paul
