Novak ESC needs longer wire

since im getting out of the scale truck and im into the big rigs now, i need longer wires on my Novak rooster ESC's so they can reach the motor. I tried Tower Hobbies and all i found was black and red wire. I didnt try Novak website to see if they have blue and yellow but i assume they do? Where do you guys get the wire at?

I would use the black and red and put some yellow and blue insulation tape on them to mark the polarity or just use the black on the blue and the red on the yellow to extend them, that way you know black = blue and red = yellow, because sunsets have all colours in them, in the red to yellow spectrum

I saw some of the flexible silicone wire listed on ebay in different colors. I need some too.

You don't need the same color as your ESC. Take your ESC to a auto parts store, ask for help, get short pieces of any color. Make sure to get the same gauge/size! Solder together, cover with heat shrink.

dam i was on tower earlier searching and all i found was the red,black, and blue sets. I even call Novak customer service today and the lady said all they sell is the red,black, and blue? So go figure, i just need the yellow and blue for the two esc i have, so id have to buy two sets to finish them, ill just get the cheapo auto parts store 14G wire i suppose

It doesn't really matter, but most rc wire is silicone insulated with a lot of thin strands of wire to keep it very flexible opposed to copper wire which may have a plastic thinner insulator and fewer larger strands. Either will work but when extending the esc wires you want to get the same wire if you can. It is possible to open up the esc and de-solder the wires and add new longer wires. You can order it from tower hobbies or any hobby shop should have it in stock.
