Default New here

Hello guys, I am new here.

I'm going to build my first rc truck with a mounted crane.

I don't really have experience in mechanics but I want to fulfill this passion of mine for mechanics and heavy equipment now when I have the opportunity (hopefully).

I am probably going to buy a Tamiya semi truck and fit a crane behind the cab.

there's a couple of brands that manufacture those cranes that I know of: leimbach, magom hrc, and scaleart.

Right now I am looking to buy either leimbach or magom.

Does any of you have experience with those brands?

Welcome to the forum. Looking forward to your build. Let us know where you are in the world, there may be some other folks in your area you could meet with and help out face to face. I've had a good experience with Magom, and have seen some builds with people using their hydro's without issue. Their customer service is spot on as well.
