Talking Airtronics VG 6000 Remote receiver options

Now I know alot of guys run the vg6000 remote

with there semis but if you are like me the receivers are getting or have been spendy and they are a little bulky in a truck. Well I have been doing some foot work and I found a new receiver that work perfect with the remote and it is cheaper but great quality and they are about 1/2 the size as the stock one.

It is the JR RS600 You can find them on ebay for $19.00 shipped and then you just need a JR crystal witch you can get for around $7 dollars on ebay also a Airtronics crystal will not work in it I have tried.

LOL I figured you would be the first one all over this Rod. I made some phone calls to JR and Hobby People and asked a lot of questions then I just found the cheapest one I could find on eBay and tried it. It works great with or with out a MFU and the size I would say is a 1/3 smaller for sure it is 1"x1 3/4"x1/2"

Pretty cool. I knew the JR RS300 and RS310s worked with radios like the Airtronics M8 and MX3S, So its nice to see that the multi channel radios play nice with the JR recievers as well. (Sorry for digging this up but thought it was great info!)
