Default King Hauler 6x6

It's time to build another truck
Surprise, surprise: blue King Hauler

I need a 6x6 to pull the big dump trailer on sand and gravel. This build will use a RC4WD R2 gearbox, with a LRP 12V TP II motor.

The truck has a bit of a lift, so I had to make some brackets to keep the driveshaft from falling out in severe conditions:

Since all the diffs will be locked, weight in the front is needed to be able to steer

Liking it so far, did you just flip the axels to get the lift or was there some other modification done?

Made new brackets for the rear suspension. Drilled new holes for the front.

Bracket ver 1.0. I might make another version, since I cut a bit too deep in the bend.

Tight fit

Ok I have to ask why you went to so much trouble to mount the suspension lower on the frame rails? Did you just need the frame rails higher than stock height?

I used my own brackets because I wanted better ground clearance and to have articulation in the front even with 6x6.

Good enough and the build is looking great so far, keep up the good work.

Emil , i like your truck. Cool short wheelbase and tough looking.
if you determine that the cable tension is too high. The axels apart and investigate hoe they are made. I had similar issue and found that the manufacturer had springs inside and a torsion spring outside on the actuator. I remov ed the outer torsion and flipped my cable set up. ALSO Double CHECH The Gear Mesh On The Pinion And Ring gear. Mine stripped out way too easily.
