Default Pete 379 Heavy Haul

All right you characters, the sole purpose of this thread is to put the rumors to rest that I don't build anything! HAHA! Its been a while since I hit the "new thread" button in this forum. I had a guy ask me to build a replica of the truck he drives daily, a three axle daycab Pete 379. I had a lot of help and parts from guys like Steve, Keith & Exclusive RC. Appreciate the assistance to help put this build together.

Amazing bud. Best one yet. Blown away how it looks so neat and tidy underneath. I never could take the time to do that on my rigs. Two thumbs up!!!

Very Nice a lot of equipment in a small cab... Question did you use 1/2 round for the trim on the back window??

I modified a PMD/Wedico mirror antenna buy cutting the one end of the T off and using a 2mm screw to mount it.

Sharp looking truck. I like where you hid the mfu control box. Is it held in place by that zip tie I noticed in the front? That battery tray is a nice touch also.

rod,
great build. At first look I thought it was a Dcp model looks very scale. Nice to see you building again, your white Pete was the truck that got me started me in the hobby. I am building a short wheel base Peterbilt for my daughter and when she saw yours, she really like it.
