Default Trailer frame rails

Where can I find frame rails that could be used for a scale 53' tridem hi boy?

Also looking to build a heavy haul trailer with jeep and booster.

Aluminum angles 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 16 gauge is what i use. Home Depot and Lowes got them in stock Some other local hardware stores have them too.

yup what he said , some hobby shops also sell it , but the price is huge . I found Home Depot ( in my area ) to have the best price 8' length is like 12 bucks and it's polished ( 3/4 x 3/4 .) is what I bought

Same as what Bo said. I cut them to taper down near the landing legs/5th wheel plate. I take tamiya flat bed rails and copy the basic pattern but extend the rails to my needs

Thank you for the info.

Quick follow up question. What do you guys use to drill and tap the holes for all the mounting such as suspension, landing gear, cross members, etc.

You'll need a 2.5MM drill bit, & a 3mm tap to drill & tap the hardware
