Question Anodizing?

Is there someone here that does anodizing? or a reputable shop I can send parts to and know they will come back in good condition?

I found a few places on Google that I sent RFQ's to, but I don't know how reputable they are.

Depending on what you want done, Ohio Anodizing in Columbus. I take my architectural extrusions there sometimes when I have a special order. They are pricey on the small quantities though. They have tanks up to 25 feet long. There's two near me that do smaller sized pieces: East Liberty Electroplating and Pittsburgh Anodizing both have 8 foot tanks if I remember correctly. Another near me but they mostly do their own work only in clear anodize finish: IBIS Tech in Ambridge,PA

I will contact them. I am looking to have some aluminum rails and pieces done in purple.

Idk if I can trust myself to do it and get the result I want.

Do you need anodized parts for looks or durability, or would alodine work for your application?

Alodine is just a yellow to gold to brown colored chemical conversion oxide layer. Its usually done for either paint adhesion or corrosion resistance and covered with primer and paint.
