Works pretty good... for a knock off.

I was about to ask if your diffs were locked for why the trans skipped, but it looks like the rear axle is open atleast. I tried some Shoo Goo in your red GL in just the last axle for limited slip diff, it improved its traction without causing the steer tires to skid, but it will peel the floats off with the trk loaded & BB's didn't help to keep them on either.

Still got your mig? Need a bigger bucket. 20 guage wouldn't be overly heavy.

You need a better esc for for/rev, ever try Servonaut's S20? I used one for my 850's swing motor, speeds up evenly/smoothly - slows down the same way. They're pricy, but it's the best I've ever tried & quite compact too.

Thanks Guys!
9w,that is what the bucket is off of.I took one all apart, but my skills aren't that good yet to pull that off. It's a lot smaller than the stieger.
Sparky, the steel u-joints I buy two in a pack,I'll get the part # for you if you want.
Scott, those actuators are none to cheap, then the cost of a speed controller per actuator, can add up in a big hurry. I agree it would be cheaper.
Yea Joe,I'm waiting on smaller dia wire right now.
The front diff is locked, the rear is open. This thing is unreal in the dirt. It by no means needs the rear locked. If it ever quits raining,I'll try to get a dirt vid in before the white crap hits.
Travis, with rubber for a load, gotta give her a shake to pack it down.

Freddy, nice loader build. Really like the new bucket - assembled with JB Weld? Would not have considered it strong enough in that application, with such a narrow joint - nice to know!

Yes, I'd appreciate the brand and part number on the metal u-joints. I have Traxxas shafts I'm using on my Payhauler truck but am not fond of the composite u-joints where they attach to the transmission shaft. Maybe I'll do something different, after seeing yours.

Thanks!

RCTech9,Not sure about teeth on this one,I've already started on a large material bucket for er,might put ripper teeth on that one.
Well...managed to do a little work on my baby.
First mounted the 1000:1 motor to grapple,& made a little sexy cover for the motor.

I still have to cut out some exspanded metal to cover the air hole.
Speakin of sexy, when I bought this pump,it was for my skidder.
So I shortened the oil tank to fit inside that project. Well turns out if you don't relax the hydraulics after shutting of,over time it will overfill the tank & leak out of the breather. This is what I came up with to fix that little problem.

Now ain't that sexy?
& here's a vid of the power test of the grapple.

Thanks for lookin!

Great job Fred! Nice to see you back at all the building. Seems you've really shifted to the tractors and the trucks are on hold at the moment. Way to keep the price and build time down by adapting to what already exists.

Thats slick pops. I didn't think that motor would have the snot, but it seems to work just fine. I think you need to doctor up the styrene housing around the motor though. It looks like hammered sack.

Beans, hows about waitin till it has some paint on it,before you give it such a nice name.
Tyler,I'm workin on it.

Just a matter of time & the white crap will be falling on my side walk, deck & drive way. This year I'm going to see if I can keep mywalks & deck clean of snow via rc only.
This might mean 12 hr shifts in order to keep up with her on those bad events.
The more time I can plow in my slippers, the better!
So this is the first weapon in the line coming to make my quest a reality.

Most of the time, you would leave the bucket on & it looks like this.

I'm not going that route,it only takes acouple of minutes to pull the pins on the bucket. So this baby is going straight to the lift arms.
Thanks for lookin!
