Default 1:1 gravel pit sorting and stacking

I have just started looking and so far found nothing in the way of pictures of sand and gravel pit sorting and stacking equipment.

I think I want to build something in the way of a sorter and stacker that might be used in a gravel pit.

If anyone has a link or pictures of something like this I'm looking.

Well, I think I was putting too much into the google search and I did end up finding some stuff.

Question about the rolling unit, this is the final stage here, is that a shaker or vibrating table system?

Jim those are the mobile units . thats the screener looks like #4's #3's #57' and 1/2 inch or #10 screen dust coming out of it. I'm not sure if I can get some pics of the local quarry I hauled outa for years . It's changed managers like underwear .

Around here we have lots of recycled concrete plants that will use a machine like that. They even use them on large road projects to recycle the concrete and asphalt.

they way it works at a plant

Dump trucks come in with broken concrete. They dump near the crusher. Most will have 2 Large excavators. One with a hammer to brake up large chunks and another to load the crusher. A rubber tire loader will also aid in pushing up piles if it's busy.

After the concrete is crushed. The use of conveyors travel the newly crushed concrete to the large piles. Depending on demand they will more fine crushed stone or large stone.

If the machine is used just on site they set it up to crush to a specific size stone and only one conveyor is used. They simply crush and make piles then walk the machine forward and do it again.

The machine in the first photo has a cedar rapids screen box. The whole box shakes about 5/8". The rectangle box on the sides contains the shakers weights. This type of screen has three shafts which creates a oval motion which does a excellent job of screening material. If you want more pics of this stuff I can get you a bunch. Here is a poor pic of the crushing spread i own.

Jmking,

Thanks. More pictures would be great. The one above is good too, it lets me see the entire layout and I can reference it while I build each piece and know how and where they are used.
