This build is really nice. Not many Wedicos around this forum, but yours is one of the best. I like the details and effort you put into making this truck turn out so great. The lights are awesome, and the trailers look really nice, even if they aren't finished yet. Keep it up.

Still amazed with your modelling. Have you got any more information on the fabrication of those trailers? There an amazing example of modelling.

Are you happy with the Veroma transmission and it's ratios? I'm currently building a Wedico Peterbilt with the aluminum 3 speed, dual Buhler motors and a PMD 4:1 reduction. I'm very happy with the speeds but not very happy with the transmission or the combination box, both have weaknesses.

The Trailers Cargoarea lenght are 525mm and 945mm and the Wide is 172mm.
I built the Chassie from a 2mm L-Profil with 5mm brass holder. At the Trailers front i built a 6mm aluminum plate for the Kingpin. The Wheels are from Leimbach and the landing legs are from Schulztec.

Im happy with it, the ratio is good. Some have problems with the Second Speed but my transmission is ok. I don't need a combination box, because the Motor have enough power .

I wasn't very clear, it's the Wedico transmission I had problems with. Was thinking about using the Veroma but went with the RC Channel transmission for now. Thank you for your reply.

Keep up the build, looks great!

for the Mudguards I turned myself a suitable aluminum tube that this is in compliance with the original "plastic Mudguards". After the pipe was cut in half, there were still glued aluminum statements.

Comparison blank and Cast Resin.

I need 22 pieces for the trailer.

On the trailer it looks like.

Is from schulztec and is powered by Faulhaber motor. I order not the normaly lenght, is a little bit shorter. Is very expensiv, but they have a lot of power.

I buy a normaly Wedico Kit in 2007

After 3 Yaers construction, is this the result.

Frame is from Wedico and my self, with Osswald and Wedico Spring also tuned (original to high). The Power Train is with a 82 Watt Faulhaber Engine and a 3-Shift Gearbox from Veroma.

The Fuel tank i make with 1mm Alu, inside is a 5 pack Battery from Orion with 5100mAh on each side.

Behind is the charing socket for the Battery

Inside the Toolbox is the Electrical rearpanel from Wedico

The Fender are from Wedico and is modifed by me. The Holders i made of Brass

This is the 1. Part, next Part will follow soon

Thank's Marcel
In the third picture where did you find your hex bolts and nut's at, if i may ask? Your build look's really great!!

Mike
